Twitterholic.com is tracking approximately 7,000 twitter users right now. It'd be more if Twitter could handle their traffic (
UPDATE: this wasn't intended to be a knock, scalability is a "high class problem") -- hopefully whatever they figure out will be written up as a case study and the Rails community can finally have a scaling solution in place. Either way, we have decent enough numbers to start generating some neat numbers.
In response to
Jason Kottke's post today, here are the averages we're seeing on our side.

Every now and then we start jonesin' for a new creative outlet/distraction. Yesterday was one of those days.
For all you twitter addicts out there,
a new Top 100 list for you to aspire too ;) We're collecting some neat stats, and if the site proves "popular" within our little circle, there are some awesome chart/graph libraries we're looking to play with.
Enjoy.

Told you so (hat tip,
gavin).
Imagine how much more efficient Washington, DC would be if everyone ditched their black berries.
Not that I'm not guilty of this myself. Telecommuting, you live and die by email and IM. Throw in the fact that I'm a stat whore and kept constantly up to date on emurse and servers, and.. yeah. My new years resolution is to do better. Stats can be a once a day / week report, and e-mail.. Man... I wish it could be a three times a day habit. It's just impossible. Same with IM.
It took me awhile, but I broke my bloglines addiction. About six months ago, it was something fierce. Now, maybe I check every couple of days.
Has anyone ever tried those FF plugins or firewall rules that block certain sites during work hours? Any luck?

This past week, we rolled a whole new set of statistics out for
web resumes.
Basically, it's everything you could dream of for keeping track of who, what and how people are viewing your online resume. We'll be adding a few more reports to the selection soon (like search terms), but the new 8 or so options should give people something to chew on for a bit. If there's anything in particular your looking for, drop us a note and we'll add it in. The engine was the work, dropping a new report in on a whim - eh.. not a problem ;)
Still cooking up those big changes in the kitchen. The first batch of cookies will hopefully be done in a week or two, the next one is a full on cake though, and will probably take a bit more time. Technology wise, we're pretty much all wrapped up. We're working on the work flow now though, which in our minds, is the most important part. Gotta keep that usability bar high ;)
