Twitterholic.com is tracking approximately 7,000 twitter users right now. It'd be more if Twitter could handle their traffic (UPDATE: this wasn't intended to be a knock, scalability is a "high class problem") -- hopefully whatever they figure out will be written up as a case study and the Rails community can finally have a scaling solution in place. Either way, we have decent enough numbers to start generating some neat numbers.
In response to Jason Kottke's post today, here are the averages we're seeing on our side.

Friends: 15.1793

2. It would be cool to be able to show off your stats ala the twitter widget. Or, at least I think it would be cool, maybe it wouldn't be.
